Sorry to sound stupid, but is this applicable to countries outside the US? I’m British, and I thankfully don’t use most of these besides some of the big ones. Cheers.

    Jesus, they basically control…. everything.

    • Karen Ferguson

we grow leaf, we grow veggies, we grow herbs.
they don’t control that…..but often the sense of “helplessness” is exactly what they want.
      But can’t have.

Out of this entire list, I found I was buying from only one that was listed. I’m easily done with that. Nice to know I’m not supporting that awful and tryanic company. Good info!
If you are commenting on this thread then you are clearly connected to the imternet. So there really is no excuse to not know what to buy in order to not support Monsanto. Its easy to look up your own list of food to buy and grow yourself. This company is successful due in large part to the laziness of the consumer. They know we would rather choose convenience over health. We need to change that and we definitely have the power to do so.

Monsanto’s name is behind, to use the term loosely, “healthy foods” too. This has got to do more with principle rather than health now. Bear in mind that even though you may find a food brand that is not on this list, you’ll still have to find out for yourself if it is backed by Monsanto but just not on this list. And check your food brands constantly as Monsanto can swoop on companies at any time. A brand that wasn’t Monsanto yesterday could be theirs tomorrow

Unilever owns a million different brands, which aren’t even mentioned here so people might think they are OK but they’re NOT, including Ben & Jerry’s and Rachel’s…. Rachel’s is allegedly an organic range. HA. Your money sent on Rachel’s ends up with Unilever.

If you really want to make a difference for the common people out there -provide accessible alternatives. Just having a list of “do not buy” doesn’t work.

    • Myriam Lluria Sitterson

Eat only real food…not packaged, processed and filled with chemical additives. Eat whole food in their natural state, the way our ancestors ate. Meats and fish, vegetables and fruits, nuts and seeds, grains and pluses, if they agree with you. Use raw honey as a sweetener and nondairy milks that don’t contain antibiotics and hormones. Eat free range, grass fed and wild caught food.

      • Fazekas Alajos
